I am generally a women's size medium for WoolX and I found the Franchesca in size medium to be a slightly loose fit across the bodice and hips. If you want a slimmer fit, I'd recommend sizing down. While the Franchesca is a loose fit, it doesn't look sloppy or overly casual, and the neckline, sleeve length, and shoulder seams all fit appropriately.

Since the cuff is a little narrower than the sweater bodice, I can pull the bottom hem up slightly and drape the main sweater body to give a slightly different style to the sweater.
