Fit and Function

I’m a size women’s medium on the CEP size guide.  I found that the CEP Core Run Short Sleeve Shirt fits true to size.

The CEP Core Run Short Sleeve Shirt is a relaxed fitting running shirt, which I really appreciated.  There are days where I just want a comfortable, breathable shirt and not have to worry about how it looks.  The relaxed fit of this shirt is just great – no so much fabric that it’s annoying but enough to look flattering on anyone.  If you want a more fitted look, consider sizing down.

CEP Core Run Short Sleeve Shirt

I’ve been running in the CEP Core Run Short Sleeve Shirt during warm (80s) lunch runs in full sun.  I often wear a running pack as well, which can be a little rough on technical running shirts.

The CEP Core Run Short Sleeve Shirt hasn’t shown any signs of wear from my pack – no pilling, pulling, or abrasions.

I found the CEP Core Run Short Sleeve Shirt to breathe and wick moisture well.  I never felt overly sweaty and I thought there was a nice amount of air movement across the shirt as I ran.

I didn’t experience chafing from any of the seams of the CEP Core Run Short Sleeve Shirt.  Sometimes, especially when wearing a pack, I’ll get a little underarm or side chafing.  This was not the case with the Core Run Shirt.  I also liked the length of the sleeves – enough for coverage and the length helped to minimize rubbing from my pack.

I also found that the CEP Core Run Short Sleeve Shirt is well priced.  I have other, less durable, shirts in my running drawer that are priced at 1/3 more of the CEP Core Run Shirt.

Closing Thoughts

The CEP Core Run Short Sleeve Shirt is a nice option for runner who want a looser fitting shirt that performs at an affordable price point.  The shirt is available for both men and women in a wide variety of colors.  Men’s sizing ranges from S to XXL; women’s sizing ranges from XS to XL.
